ZEISS acquires Ceres Holographics to expand automotive and aerospace technology

ZEISS acquired Scotland-based Ceres Holographics and will integrate it into ZEISS Microoptics. The transaction adds hologram-manufacturing technology to ZEISS's ProSight platform as the group targets high-volume automotive, aerospace and consumer applications; financial terms were not disclosed.
