Serval raises $150 million and plans to hire more than 500 people in one year
Serval announced a $150 million Series C at a $3 billion valuation led by Sequoia, its third funding round in 12 months. The enterprise automation company says its annual recurring revenue has doubled every quarter since its Series B and that two Fortune 20 companies joined during the past six months. Its Catalyst product lets employees describe business requirements that AI agents convert into controlled, code-based workflows, while administrators retain permissions and approval controls. Serval is positioning the platform as a replacement for legacy service-management systems rather than an additional AI layer. The company says one automotive manufacturer completed a company-wide migration from ServiceNow in 45 days. Serval plans to hire more than 500 people over the next 12 months, including over 100 Automation Engineers for a new professional-services unit called ProServal. Roughly half of those Automation Engineers are expected to be recent graduates who complete a four-week training program.
