Nuance Labs raises $50 million and hires across multimodal AI research and engineering

Nuance Labs has raised a $50 million Series A led by Lightspeed, with participation from Accel, South Park Commons, NVIDIA and Define Ventures. The Seattle company says the funding will expand its research team as it develops a unified multimodal intelligence model and prepares a research preview for later in 2026.
