Why this score
Built from company events, not anonymous ratings.
The recent evidence is constructive, but the specific role and team still matter. The score weighs signal recency and source confidence. It is a decision aid—not a verdict on culture or a specific team.

Kalshi raised a $1 billion Series G at a $40 billion post-money valuation in a round co-led by Wellington and Sequoia, with participation from CapitalG, Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, Morgan Stanley Investment Management and other investors. The company says annualized trading volume across its exchange now exceeds $1 trillion and that more than 30 million accounts have been created. Kalshi began with event contracts and is expanding into politics, crypto, commodities, perpetual futures and planned products such as indices, single-stock perpetual futures and compute markets. It reports more than $1 billion in non-sports annualized revenue and says international retail operations are approaching $100 million in annualized trading fees one year after expansion into more than 140 countries. The new capital is intended to grow the exchange, launch assets, expand global access and increase institutional adoption. The announcement does not provide a headcount or hiring target.
The financing supports a broad opportunity set in exchange engineering, market surveillance, quantitative systems, security, compliance, legal, risk, payments, institutional sales and international operations. Kalshi's expansion beyond prediction markets means candidates should determine which product line funds a role and which regulator or jurisdiction governs the work. A $40 billion valuation and rapid product growth can support ambitious hiring, but they also raise performance expectations and regulatory exposure. The company has not promised a specific workforce increase, so applicants should not treat the funding amount as proof that every vacancy is durable. Roles connected to core exchange reliability, market integrity and compliance may have clearer strategic necessity than experimental product positions. Candidates should also ask how the company separates confirmed business metrics from annualized run rates, and how leadership prioritizes new launches when legal or market conditions change. The environment is likely fast-paced and highly accountable rather than predictable.
