Why this score

Built from company events, not anonymous ratings.

The evidence points in different directions or is not yet strong enough for a clear conclusion. The score weighs signal recency and source confidence. It is a decision aid—not a verdict on culture or a specific team.

Circle agrees to acquire Tazapay and expand its cross-border payments network

Circle signed a definitive agreement to acquire Singapore-based payments infrastructure company Tazapay. Circle says Tazapay brings more than $25 billion in annualized payment volume, over 60 banking and fintech partners, and payout coverage across more than 100 markets. The transaction is expected to close in 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions.

Employee impact

The proposed deal may create opportunities in payments engineering, APIs, compliance, risk and APAC market expansion. Because the acquisition has not closed, candidates at either company should clarify future reporting lines, platform-integration plans and whether a vacancy belongs to committed growth or anticipated consolidation.
