Oracle expands its AI-linked restructuring plan with about $700 million of additional actions
In its September 11 Form 10-Q, Oracle said its fiscal 2026 restructuring plan carried up to $2.1 billion of estimated costs as of August 31 and was supplemented after quarter-end by about $700 million for additional actions. Oracle linked the plan to strategic and operational-efficiency measures, including AI adoption across certain functions; the filing says costs recorded by operating segment primarily relate to employee severance.
