Baselayer raises $35 million and launches identity infrastructure for AI agents

Baselayer has raised a $35 million Series A led by M13 and launched an Agentic Identity Suite for verifying and controlling software agents that transact on behalf of people and businesses. The company says its existing identity network is used by more than one in five US financial institutions.
