AKASA launched an autonomous AI platform for inpatient medical coding and clinical documentation integrity. The company says inpatient volume processed by its products grew almost sixfold over the past year and that its customers represent roughly 10% of US inpatient discharges. Outpatient facility encounters are planned next.
