AEVEX closes BlackSea acquisition and creates a maritime autonomy division

AEVEX completed its acquisition of BlackSea Technologies, adding unmanned surface and subsea systems to its air-domain autonomous portfolio. BlackSea becomes AEVEX Maritime Systems under its former CEO. AEVEX says BlackSea will initially retain its operating structure while the companies prepare a staged integration.
